1. Direct traffic
Direct traffic represents those visitors that arrive directly and immediately on your site. It can be by typing your URL into the browser’s address bar, clicking a link on an email, SMS, chat..etc

How to Set Up Google Analytics for a website?
- Login to google analytics and go to the setup page and hit start now.
- Provide the account name and tick the required options from shown list.
- Add the property name, select the country and click next.
- Then select the website category, and population and also tick the options required. Click Create.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Then choose the platform like website, android, ios...etc
- Now copy the URL in the setup data stream page (clear the URL prefix from the copied URL), and also provide the stream name. Then click 'create stream.'
- Click the view tag instructions and then install manually option.
- Copy the tracking code and paste it to the head section of the HTML code of the website.
After installing the tracking code you can view the interaction of visitors in the real-time section of Google Analytics.
