Google Search Console and its Verification Methods.

 Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmasters tool) is a free platform for anyone with a website to monitor how google views its size and optimize its organic presence. Google search console is created to easily track the performance of your website. You can get valuable insights out of your Google Search Console account which means that you can see what part of your website needs work.

To start using Google Search Console, you will need to launch google search console tools and begin with your required Gmail id. Within the google search console click on "add a new property "in the top bar. If you choose the domain option you only have to add the domain name. With the URL prefix option, you have to add the right URL address.

When you've added the website, the next step is to verify that you are the owner of your website. Ownership will be auto-verified if the website and google search console account is created with the same email id.
There are several options to verify your ownership if not auto-verified.After the verification process submit the URLs of the web pages in the URL inspection tool of the search console and you can request indexing. The URL inspection tool helps you to analyze specific URLs.

Sitemap Submission

A sitemap is an XML document that provides valuable information about the pages and content on your website to search engines. It helps crawlers to find all the places in one place instead of discovering them via internal links.
To submit your website's sitemap, get into the google search console and click on the sitemap option. Copy the sitemap address and paste it into the "add a sitemap" option.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. In this method, you will need to install the google analytic's tracking code. Your tracking code has to be in the right location and you need edit permissions for this to work. If that's all in the place, you can just click verify and your google analytics and search console accounts will be linked.

Google tag manager is a tool to manage the tags on a website. Just like google analytics, you can verify your site with a single click. You need to be using the container snippet and have manage permissions in Google Tag Manager for this to work. If so you can click verify.

5. Domain Name Provider

In order to verify the ownership using this method you will need to log in to the domain account. A TXT record will be provided by Google, copy the text and paste it into the DNS configuration and click verify.
